Tamil Nadu goverment invites Nominations for Padma Awards – 2016 which is Country’s most prestigious Civilian Awards. The Nomination may be filed by downloading the prescribed form from TN Government website.
The Principal Secretary to Government, Public Department in his message has declared that 31.07.2015 is the last date for submitting Nominations with supporting documents for recommending to Government of India.
Padma Awards
The award seeks to recognize ‘work of any distinction’ and is given for distinguished and exceptional achievements/service in all fields / disciplines, such as, Art, Literature and Education, Sports, Medicine, Social Work, Science and Engineering, Public Affairs, Civil Service, Trade and industry etc. All persons without distinction of race, occupation, position or sex are eligible for these awards.
