This comment is an outcome of a match played between two sides. One of the team was a bunch of professional cricketers (lets call this team1) and another was a team that loses more than 50% of its players every year, thereby always having an unsettled eleven (and this is team2).

Team1 played a brilliant cricket, even team2 had admired the way they played. Team2 was completely outplayed by team1 on all fronts.

So you might be asking why this comment:

While Team2 was batting, almost all the players who was in the vicinity of the batsmen, made so many funny and insulting comments through out their innings. The comments went like “appa, 50 over match-ey ipdi aadranga, 5 day match na innum epdi aaduvanga”, “ayyo, idha kooda adikka mattraan”, “andha player adicha shot oralavu nalla irundhuchu, indha shot onnum perusa illa”, and so many mocking laughings and smirks etc.

So this is what I have to say about all those:

    1) First to those wanna be professionals: Why show your arrogance to someone who is way out of your league. By the looks of it, you guys appear to be a bunch of cricket aspirants. If you are really competitive, go show this stuff and do all the talks that you have done to someone of your caliber and not to someone who is happened to be a cricketer by hobby. What you did to yourselves was nothing but shame.(Nee oru periya rowdy na therula eeyam poosravanayum, iron vandikaaranayum adikka koodadhu, innoru rowdy-a adikanum)

    2) Second to those officials: All this happened, right in front of the umpires. I guess the umpires had lunch (chapathis and chicken gravy) with them, may be that gratitude stopped them. I have seen this habit among many xxxx (edited) umpires, having meals with one of the playing sides, guys, cant you even pay for your meal? XXXX[Edited] must advise their umpires on this matter as this will cause doubts on the other sides minds, even if there was a marginal umpiring error.

    3) Finally, whatever position we may hold in your life, but you should not insult others just because you have the upper hand at a particular moment. And trust me, whatever may be my position in a situation, I respect my opponent and my fellow human being. For sure, I would make no mockery on anybody the way you did. And, that makes me a better human than you all, because you guys are all pathetic.

Victory or Loss is always never a constant for any team! If someone won you let us try to won them again! If someone insulted you let us not to try that way! Let us answer by gentlemenship gestures. Thats the spirit of the game! All the best to the runners up of the matches and have a great cricketing year ahead!

Things are easy when being said. Especially to remain silent when you are insulted. We hadn’t retaliated that day. We, as a team, didn’t perform well and that made us angry only on us and nothing else mattered to us. But after the match, all those mockery and insults don’t leave our mind.

By the way, why not publish the comment? If this has happened to us, it could have happened to anybody in the past and might happen to somebody in the future. They should have limits, when it comes to the talking. If it is not a problem for this site, let the world know what is happening.

Sometimes truth which is silent and hidden is more powerful than exposed. It is preserved and not exploited. This day will leave! Time will change the history! Where there is a will, there is a way!
