In the Coimbatore District Cricket Association’s 2nd division cricket league matches played at Coimbatore today (10.11.2013),

At Forest Grounds, Rainbow 1972 MMCC batted first and scored 97 in 36.3 overs. S. Karthik scored 34 runs. R. Deepak and P. Ayyappan bowled well and claimed 5 wickets for 13 runs and 3 wickets for 37 runs respectively for Wings CC.

Wings CC chased the target in 31 overs. Brief Score: Wings CC- 102 for 4 in 31 overs. P. Ayyappan scored 45 Not out and M. Tamil Selvan scored 31.

Match Result: Wings CC beat Rainbow 1972 MMCC by 6 wickets

At SNR Sons College ground, SNR Sons College batted first and scored 182 in 41.1 overs against Arumugam CC. N. Harish scored 34 and P. Kumaresan scored 47 for SNR. K.B. Bineesh took 3 wickets for 29.

In the chase, Arumugam CC managed to score 144 in 39.3 overs. K.B Aneesh and N. Harish bowled well and picked 3 wickets for 44 runs and 4 wickets for 16 runs respectively for SNR Sons College.

Match Result: SNR Sons College beat Arumugam CC by 38 runs.

At PSG IMS ‘A’ ground, Coimbatore Raiders batted first and scored 222 in 49.2 overs against Jolly Friends XI. K. Kanagaraj top scored with 73, J. Suresh Kumar scored 40. M. Nanda Kumar bowled well and picked 5 wickets for 19 runs.

In the chase, Jolly Friends XI scored 188 in 44.4 overs. The fight back was led by R. Arun Kumar and he scored 90 runs. S.G Suresh picked 3 wickets for 43 runs and S. Muthu murugan picked 3 wickets for 35 runs.

 Match Result: Coimbatore Raiders beat Jolly Friends XI by 34 runs
