On 23.01.2013, in the TNCA Senior Inter districts tournament for S.S Rajan Trophy quarterfinal match played at Trichy, Trichy DCA beat Villupuram DCA.
At Saranathan Engineering College (Turf Wicket) Trichy DCA played against Villupuram DCA.

Trichy DCA scored 211 in 48.2 Overs with G. Rajesh top scoring-49 and well supported by M. Prithviraj and C.S Jaganathan who scored 29 & 28 respectively.
In reply Villupuram DCA scored 127 in 36.5 Overs with M. Sridhar raj scoring 43 and V. Sakthivel scoring 36.

Trichy DCA would be playing against Coimbatore DCA in their semi final encounter.
The Other semi finalists in the tournament are Kancheepuram DCA and DCA of Tirupur.
