Uni drive line trophy – II Division
On 16.12.2012, in the Coimbatore District Cricket Association’s II Division league tournament for Uni drive line trophy played at Coimbatore, Suryabala Cricketers beat Rainbow 1972 MMCC, Wings CC beat Coimbatore Raiders CA and Friends Recreation Club beat PSG Tech.
- Suryabala Cricketers beat Rainbow 1972 MMCC comprehensively by 6 wickets with a 3 wicket spell from Rajesh and an unbeaten 36 from Shajahan.
- P. Aiyappan’s 5 wicket haul which includes a hat trick of wickets over shadowed all other performers won the match for Wings CC. Other notable performances are from Venkatesan and Suresh who took 4 wickets each for Coimbatore Raiders, J. Vivek Peter and Deepak who scored 53 and 48 respectively for Wings, Sundararajan’s 43 for Coimbatore Raiders and finally Arumugam’s 3 wickets for Wings
- Easwaramoorthi’s fiver won the match for Friends Recreation club by a margin of 80+ runs; Shivaprakash and Ragavendran took 4 and 3 wickets respectively for PSG Tech.
